How to use hashish?

According to Wikipedia: ”Hashish, or hash, is a drug made from the resin of the cannabis plant. It is consumed by inhaling from a small piece, typically in a pipe, bong, vaporizer or joint, or via oral ingestion (after decarboxylation). As pure hashish will not burn if rolled alone in a joint, it is typically mixed with herbal cannabis, tobacco, or another type of herb for this method of consumption. Depending on region or country, multiple synonyms and alternative names exist.”

What is the difference between hash and marijuana?

marijuana, cannabis flower
marijuana, cannabis flower

According to the Drug enforcement administration, hash is the most potent form of cannabis and contains extremely high levels of THC much higher than marijuana. Marijuana may have a potency ranging from 10 to 20 percent THC whereas hashish has a potency of between 20 and 60 percent. This means that it will take a lot less hashish than marijuana to get that high feeling.

How is hash made?

Hashish, hash for short, is derived from the “kief,” or the dried resin, of the flowering tops of mature and unpollinated female cannabis plants. The glands of the resin are called trichomes orcrystals.

Hash is harvested by collecting the powdery resin either by using your hand, by mechanical beating of the plants, or by submersing cannabis plants in icy water and then using small sieves to remove the trichomes, which are then dried. The leftover kief is then pressed into cakes or blocks, which you can then smoke in pipes, mix with marijuana in joints or vaporize and inhale.

There are 3 ways of using hashish:

vaping

  1. Smoking
  2. Vaping
  3. Eating

The effects of eating hashish are more extreme that is why most of the world prefers to smoke it. When smoking hashish, you will feel relaxed.

There are many ways to smoke hash. One of the methods are like rolling a joint. Put a chunk of hash on a key and burn it slightly while you keep the flame on it. Then crumble it up and mix it with tobacco if you want. Roll it up and now you can smoke.

You can also smoke hash by using a glass or a cup. Stick a sewing pin through a cigarette and stick the hash on top of the pin. Now put the cigarette in a clear glass so the tips create a bridge.

Light the hash and make sure to cover the opening of the glass with paper. If the glass is filled with smoke it is time for you to inhale.

According to https://www.civilized.life/ “Vaporizing hashish is an alternative to eating or burning it. The THC in hashish vaporizes when the hashish burns. The THC adjacent to the burning ember vaporizes and is released with the smoke, and the smoker inhales the mixture of vaporized THC and smoke.

When hashish is heated to between 200° C and 450° C, the user receives both the potency and the flavors without any of the smoke usually associated with smoking.”

I hope you guys found this article interesting and maybe learned something new. Remember that hashish is much more potent than marijuana so if you are first starting, start slowing with small quantities.

How to vaporize rosin?

If you are new to vaping you may want to know about all your possibilities, right? You already had a hint of how to vaporize weed and now let’s deep into how to vaporize rosin!

What is rosin?

According to Wikipedia Rosin, also called colophony or Greek pitch, is a solid form of resin obtained from pines and some other plants, mostly conifers, produced by heating fresh liquid resin to vaporize the volatile liquid terpene components. It is semi-transparent and varies in color from yellow to black.

High-quality rosin is when different processes are used to collect trichomes and then applying pressure. This process has been used for many years but only recently the process is being refined into products that are clean and dabbable.

Why is rosin so popular?

It is because of its versatility. It can be made of flowers, kief, and bubble hash that is dried or freshly frozen.

How to use rosin?

Because rosin is so versatile it can be used in many different ways. Here are some of the ways you can use it:

1.      Dab it

By doing this you are bringing out the terpenes and you can enjoy the countless flavors and aromas of each strain. Looking for that extra flavor, then dabbing is the way to go.

2.      Vaping it

If you have a vaporizer that can take cannabis concentrates, you can load the rosin and enjoy it by vaping it.

3.      Rolling it

You can crush the rosin up and roll in into a joint, blunt, or a spliff whatever your heart or taste buds desire. To avoid getting into a sticky situation first let it dry out.

4.      Add it to your bowl

Not in the mood for rolling a joint. You can also sprinkle some rosin over your bowl. Place onto the ground bud in your bowl and then light it up. Just keep in mind by adding this to your bowl you are making it much more potent.

5.      You can even bake it

Yes, you read that right, you can bake the rosin into an edible. If you want to have a strong potency, consider decarboxylate it before throwing it in and you will maximize the potency.

If you want to make sure that you are purchasing the best rosin, you need to look at the following:

Clean, light amber in color

Do not purchase if the rosin is green, because this is a sign that plant matter is present. If the rosin is darker in color it can mean that it is older starting material but does not necessarily mean that it is of poor quality. By using your nose, you can determine if it will be great to dab. If it smells bad do not make the purchase.

Strong smell

If it is of quality, it should smell like the flower it came from. If it has a hay-ish smell do not purchase it.

No plant matter present

When see plant matter do not purchase it. It will look like small hairs. The shatter and sap forms of the rosin should be translucent and clear. The wax and budder forms should be tan or amber-colored.

By using these traits, you will get the best quality rosin out there. If you are looking for something versatile rosin is your answer. Choose your way of using it and get on your magical journey.

Is vaping e-liquid vegan?

Whether you have decided to go vegan because of health benefits or because you care for the animals and the environment, you want to know if that vape juice that you are vaping is vegan friendly. Well, sit back grab yourself a cup of coffee with almond milk of course and read on.

As a vegan, you want to know exactly what is in everything especially when it comes to the e-juice of your vape.

Let me present you with the facts and you can decide for yourself:

e-liquid or e-juice
e-liquid or e-juice
  1. When it comes to the process of creating e-liquids no animal parts are used.
  2. The natural flavoured e-juices like the fruit flavours are obtained from fruits, plants, and vegetables
  3. If you are worried about the sweeter flavours like cookies and cream, don’t! They are usually made from chemicals to create that specific flavour. So no, you are not vaping eggs or milk!
  4. The base of e-juices are made from VG and PG. VG that is vegetable Glycerine is made from plant oils and is vegan friendly. PG that is Propylene Glycol is made from petroleum and this depends on how you look at it as a vegan.
  5. E-liquids also may contain distilled water that is of course safe for our vegans out there.
  6. If you choose to have nicotine in your e-liquid don’t worry this addictive substance is found in plants. So again, it is safe for the vegans.
  7. But unfortunately there might be a chance that the artificial flavourings were tested on animals. But you can always reach out to the manufacturer to express your concern. This will make you feel a whole lot better and calmer.

What are the benefits of vaping vegan e-liquids?

 Eliminate bad odor

Because the e-juice is made from plant-based ingredients the smell is going to be fresh and not harsh like other chemicals that are added or worse cigarette smoke.

Saves you money

Vegan e-liquids are going to save you more money than compared to when you are smoking traditional cigarettes. You can also buy them online which makes it much easier than driving to the store to pick up a pack of cigarettes.

No extra accessories needed

Yes, with vaping you get accessories for your vaporizer but in this case, I’m referring to smoking accessories like ashtrays. There will be no need for you to have an ashtray laying around for someone to complain about the smell. You also don’t have the risk of starting a fire with your vaporizer like you do with a cigarette.

It improves your health

You are not getting that tar-based tobacco like you would when smoking. This means that it is much healthier for your lungs. Your workouts will also be easier with better breathability. Now you can live an even healthier vegan life.

Different flavours to choose from

You can choose from sweet to savoury and even tobacco flavours and you are not just limited to a few flavours depending on the brand like cigarettes.

Here are some extra facts that you can have a look at:

Are the colourings of E-liquid Vegan?

Making E-Juice
Making E-Juice

You might think that every e-juice is vegan-friendly but not necessarily. You will need to make sure and contact the manufacturer. The following might make you a little sick to the stomach. The red colouring that is added to some e-liquids is derived from ground-up beetles. It is the body of the Cochina beetle that is dried and then boiled again and then creates this Red#4 dye.

According to vegan.com, “Red #4 may also appear on the label as cochineal extract, crimson lake, natural red 4 and E120.”

If you are a vegan and ground-up beetles make you sick to the stomach you will want to avoid this.

Is Propylene Glycol Vegan?

Is Propylene Glycol, that forms part of the e-liquids base always vegan?

Propylene glycol is a petroleum derivative., petroleum is a fossil fuel.  What does this mean? It means it was created, through heat, time, and pressure, from the fossilized remains primarily of plants. Depending on your beliefs and how you classify veganism to be, this might affect you. But don’t worry you can always get 100 percent vegetable glycerine as your base for your e-liquid.

Is Vegetable Glycerine (VG) Vegan?

Well, Vegetable glycerine is made by pressing vegetable oil at a specific temperature and then adding some water to it. The fatty acids in the oils are then absorbed by the water and then create a thick syrup consistency.

Another way to make this glycerine is to use animal fats, the animal fats are then put through a process of boiling and cooling and an animal-based glycerine is then created. But this type is mostly used in body care products such as lotions and soaps.

Don’t worry you can easily tell them apart and the type that is used in your e-juice is vegetable glycerine that is safe for vegans.

Conclusion

When it comes to e-liquids the majority of the ingredients are vegan friendly, but ingredients like artificial flavourings might be tested out on animals. So, depending on for what reason you are vegan and if the part of them testing it out on animals concerns you, you can always contact the supplier or make yourself your own e-liquid.

You can also choose e-juices that are 100 percent VG instead of a VG/PG mix, you can also choose a flavouring that is natural instead of artificial. There you go now you are sorted! If you are a vegan and worrying about what is in your e-juice worry no more there are ways you can make sure that everything the e-juice contains is 100 percent vegan friendly.

Hope you guys found this article interesting and helpful. What are your beliefs when it comes to veganism and what do you see as right and wrong? Let us know.

Why is my vape leaking?

He was working at his desk when he stood up to go make a copy. As he stood up, he could hear the laughter getting louder and louder in the office. He then looked down and saw what everyone found so amusing. Jip, his pants was covered all in his favourite cotton candy vape juice. He instantly turned red and rushed to the nearest bathroom.

Have you ever been in an embarrassing situation like this? Do not worry you are not alone and I am here today to check your vaporizer parts and to share with you some tips on preventing this from happening again.

1.      Make sure that your vape tank is filled properly

box mod vape tank
box mod vape tank

Tilt your favourite tank while filling it up, this causes the liquid to run down the inside of the glass or plastic of your vape tank and won’t get any liquid anywhere near the central tube.

2.      Do not overfill your tank

If you leave a small amount of air it will create a vacuum that helps keep the e-liquid in the chamber.

3.      Make sure that it is closed tightly

vaporizer tank
vaporizer tank

Gaps where your coil meets the base of your atomizer, or where the base of your coil meets the tank can be enough to create a leak.

This is easy to avoid. Take your time and make sure that:

  • when you re-attach your atomizer head to the base
  • when you re-attach the base to your tank everything fits as it should

Also, check your coil head because this can sometimes come loose when you unscrew the tank. The biggest issue is when you screw everything back together and cross threading happens. This is where the thread on the two-components, you are screwing back together don’t line up correctly. This causes it not to seal properly and can lead to leakage.

1.      When you are not using the tank leave it in a standing up position

This is especially if the tank is under half, this is because of the juice holes in the coil and the juice can then escape and go into the central tube or out of the airflow holes.

2.      Make sure that you are using the correct coil for the e-juice

3.      Check the O-rings and get new ones if there is something wrong with them

It is not just overtightening that can damage the O-ring, but it can also degrade as time goes on. If they are degraded or out of position, make sure to replace them with a new one.

4.      Switch to a higher VG juice

Making E-Juice
Making E-Juice

This will slow down the leaking if it should happen.

5.      Add some extra wicking material

If you are having leaking issues when using an RBA (re-buildable Atomiser), then the reason is almost always how it has been wicked.

You need just enough cotton to fill up the space around the coils, but not too much so that the air can get through.

There should be just enough cotton to fit through the coil itself. If it is too tight, then the liquid will not be able to get to the coil. Please be advised that this is only for people who rebuild their coils.

There you have it guys now you have the tips to prevent an embarrassing experience from happening. Happy vaping!

How to Vaporize Weed

How to Vaporize Weed is a question that many people are asking these days, especially those who are trying to kick the habit and start a life with their newfound freedom. Most often they just end up in some other kind of addiction like drugs or alcohol. There is a solution out there that has helped countless people kick their bad habits, and this article is going to give you some tips on how to do it.

First off, if you are like me, the first thing that you have to do when you try to smoking weed is to get a vaporizer.

You can pick from the many different types of vaporizers available, but some of them can be very expensive to buy. In fact, the vaporizer that I used for about 4 months was the most expensive I have ever spent for a product that was really useful to me.

Once you have a vaporizer, you will need to find a place where you can put your vaporizer. This is pretty easy to do; all you need to do is get the right place to put your vaporizer and plug it in. Most vaporizers are portable, but you can find ones that sit in the same spot and do not need any battery for them to work, which can make it even easier to stop using your vaporizer once you get a little bit into the habit.

Another great way to smoking weed is by using a dry herb vaporizer instead of an oil vaporizer.

weed vaporizer

This is much less expensive than most vaporizers and can be much easier to use. However, the main problem with these types of vaporizers is that the flavorings that are usually added to them will make the weed taste weird, which makes it more difficult to quit smoking weed. Also, some herbs will react with these vaporizers very poorly, so if you want to stop smoking weed completely, you might have to go with a dry herb vaporizer.

How to choose the best CBD oil

What is CBD oil?

CBD oil is extracted from the cannabis plant using different extraction methods. The most used method that produces the highest quality CBD oil is CO2 extraction.

In this way, the purest form of CBD – called CBD isolate is produced and then dissolved in a carrier oil for better human consumption.

CBD oil with exceptional therapeutic properties can ease the symptoms of various health conditions such as epilepsy, insomnia, and cancer.

CBD oil and hemp oil are the same?

CBD oil and hemp oil are not the same; they are different. Although both come from the cannabis plant, they are extracted from different parts of the plant.

Hemp oil is extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant and is rich in vitamins and nutrients. With no active cannabinoids, you cannot get CBD from hemp oil.

However, you can count on the effective antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of hemp oil. No wonder, it is often part of the cooking oil, hair, and skincare products.

On the other hand, CBD oil is extracted from leaves, stalks, and flowers of the hemp plant. The compound enjoys wide recognition as a phenomenal healer with exceptional therapeutic properties.

Choosing the best CBD oil

The folks interested in purchasing CBD oil need to get some key information. Essentially, the knowledge of related factors helps you purchase the best available CBD oil. The following concerns can play a key role in helping to select a top-quality CBD oil for you.

Types of CBD

There are three main types of CBD available in the market: isolate, full-spectrum, broad-spectrum. Isolate refers to purest CBD without any other cannabinoid or compound. If you see a full spectrum CBD, it means it involves all cannabinoids naturally found in the cannabis plant, including delta9 THC. Whereas, broad-spectrum CBD refers to the presence of multiple cannabinoids except for delta9 THC.

The research has shown that together CBD and THC leave an enhanced impact that is known as the entourage effect. In other words, used alone both CBD and THC are less effective compared to when they used together.

The knowledge of these three types of CBD would greatly assist you in determining which product that better matches your consumption needs.

Is CBD third-party tested?

Since no FDA regulation covers the manufacturing of CBD products, it is hard to determine the quality of a CBD product. The vacuum so left by no FDA regulation is filled by third-party tests, the tests tell what ingredients a product is composed of. It is easy to find third-party testing information on a company’s website.

Look for other ingredients

Other ingredients are the part of CBD, to improve its flavor and bring additional benefits. If you prefer a specific type of flavor, check carefully what essential oil or flavoring is used in that product. The cannabis enthusiasts who are interested in having additional health benefits, need to look for CBD with added vitamins.

What is cannabis origin, how it is grown?

CBD products produced using organic, USA-grown hemp is considered to be of superior quality since cannabis cultivation in the USA is subject to specific regulations. You can expect such cannabis to meet certain quality standards.

Organically grown cannabis involves no use of pesticides and other chemicals; its consumption is perfect to enjoy the therapeutic effects of CBD oil.
